Welcome to DAFOE week.

This week is dedicated to Mr. Willem Dafoe. He's worked with David Lynch, Werner Herzog, Lars Trier, Kathryn Bigelow, Martin Scorsese, David Cronenberg, Wes Anderson, Spike Lee, William Friedkin, Abel Ferrara, John Waters, Walter Hill, Wim Wenders, Sam Raimi, Oliver Stone, and John Milius. He's played everyone from Jesus to T.S. Eliot to some weird approximation of Dick Cheney. His career has survived XXX 2: STATE OF THE UNION and SPEED 2: CRUISE CONTROL. His collaborations with Paul Schrader rival De Niro's with Scorsese. He's even been in two films with his pop star doppelgänger, David Bowie. But can he emerge from within the shadow of his nylon-stocking'd predecessor, Mr. Ironside?

This and other pressing questions await...
